The company garnered local and international acclaim for its quality products, philanthropy, and high standard of employee treatment. It remained family-owned until 1995 when it was purchased by Belgian brewing giant, Interbrew. The London brewery remains in operation today under the ownership of Anheuser-Busch InBev, the world's largest brewing conglomerate.
