This cast iron plate bearing the company's name once adorned a proprietary type of barrel-shaped butter churn, called "The Daisy", which was among the company's best-selling products. Wortman & Ward was purchased by Beatty Brothers, Ltd of Fergus, Ontario in 1912 and the name was gradually discontinued.
